This article begins with some famous and or notorious examples of international students from the 20th century and how study abroad changed their world view and influenced them as political leaders back in their home countries. The article then considers who is ‘teaching the village’, and asks whether international students return home with reinforced, challenged or consolidated world views based on their sojourn in a pluralistic society. Ministry to international students is discussed.
